Application Period for Baxter Equipment for Education Grant Now Open!

Great news, SNA members! The application period for the 2015 Baxter Equipment for Education Grant is now open, and it’s time for you to apply!

The Baxter Equipment for Education Grant will award one school district in need of improving its school meal kitchen facilities with one (1) OV310 Mini-Rotating Rack Convection Oven through a competitive grant process. And new this year, the winning school foodservice director will also receive a $500 award for use toward registration and travel expenses to attend, and be recognized at, SNA’s Annual National Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, July 12-15, 2015. Online applications for the Baxter Equipment Grant are due by Friday, March 6, 2015. Only the first 50 applications will be accepted—apply now!

To apply for the Baxter Equipment for Education Grant, you must be an active SNA director-level member who has been a member of SNA for at least one year, as of January 1, 2015, and be the person responsible for directing the school nutrition program of the school district. We recommend downloading the application worksheet to prepare your answers to copy and paste into the online application form. Remember, only the first 50 applications will be considered, so act fast!

In addition to the OV310 Mini Rotating Rack Convection Oven, the Baxter Equipment for Education Grant includes a stand base, a two-year parts and labor warranty, delivery and installation by Hobart Service, and training and demonstration with a sales representative.
