January is National Oatmeal Month
It’s cold pretty much everywhere across the country right now, which means it’s the perfect time for a warm, nutritious bowl of oatmeal! January is National Oatmeal Month, and we don’t want you to miss it. Do you remember Whitehall District & Montague Area Public Schools in Michigan? School foodservice staff implemented a Fuel Up to Play 60, student-designed oatmeal bar that raised the profile on school breakfast and became a hit with students as a result. If oatmeal isn’t on your school breakfast menu, it might be time to test some recipes with your student focus group.
