While Partners for BIC is not currently offering any breakfast after the bell grants, we do understand the important role funding can play in getting a breakfast program started or in expanding an existing one. To help you, we’ve compiled below information on finding grant funding. We also have success stories and other resources you can share to help you make the case for breakfast after the bell.
In addition to Partners for BIC, other national organizations as well as their local affiliates, such as Action for Healthy Kids, GENYOUth, and National Dairy Council, provide funding for breakfast after the bell programs. Action for Healthy Kids, School Breakfast Grants
Action for Healthy Kids offers breakfast grants ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 to schools looking to introduce or expand a school breakfast program. Grants are available in all 50 states. Applications are closed for the 2019–2020 school year, but educators can sign up for alerts for next year and other grant opportunities.
Fuel Up to Play 60, Breakfast Equipment Opportunity
FUTP 60 is now offering educators in eligible areas an opportunity to apply for a breakfast cart system, valued at approximately $7,000, in support of a new or existing school breakfast program. The Fuel Up to Play 60 Breakfast Equipment Special Opportunity is available thanks to the PepsiCo Foundation.
Eos Foundation After the Bell Breakfast Launch Grant
One-time grants of up to $10,000 are available to eligible schools, districts, and charter public schools in Massachusetts that are looking to launch or expand breakfast after the bell programs.
