ANC 2011 First Timers, Nashville, TN

Will you be joining us for this year’s Annual National Conference in Denver? The theme for 2012 is “Explore New Horizons,” and the conference schedule is chock-full of expert speakers, important panel discussions, continuing education sessions, informative listening sessions, and—as always—an exciting Exhibit Hall where you will find the latest in cutting-edge food, supply, equipment, and service solutions, all of which were designed to improve the success of your school nutrition operation. We hope you will be joining us in Denver, July 14-18.

Stop by the School Nutrition Foundation booth to say hello and introduce yourself, and to share and learn more about breakfast-in-the-classroom. Do you have a breakfast-in-the-classroom success story? We will be capturing stories on video throughout the four day conference, so make sure you stop by the SNF Video Corner share your breakfast-in-the-classroom best practices. We will also have some great giveaways going on over the course of the week, so please come and find us!

If you need even more incentive to register for ANC 2012, the regular registration rate deadline has been extended through June 29. And no matter what sessions you decide to attend, please stop by and introduce yourself at the School Nutrition Foundation booth. We are looking forward to meeting you, and to another great year at ANC.

Every day of the conference will be filled with fun, informative sessions. Here are a few that we are especially excited about—won’t you join us?

Full schedule for Sunday, July 15

Monday, July 16

Are you thinking about new menus to meet the new meal patterns? You won’t want to miss the 2:15 p.m. session “Menuing to Meet the New Meal Patterns” where this topic will be discussed. (Other time slots for this topic are being offered; consult your schedule for additional sessions.)

We will be leading “Expanding School Breakfast: Bringing Everyone to the Table II” at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Whether you are just getting started or looking to expand, this promises to be an exciting education session.

I would love to speak with whomever is responsible for the meeting topic of “Managing the Mystery: Correcting Myths and Sharing Best Practices of Food Allergy Management.”

I have two children with food allergies which prompted my creation of AllergicChild.com over 13 years ago. School lunches are so difficult to manage for families with food allergies. I would love to assist in the conversation of a parent’s viewpoint.

Please feel free to forward my email address on to the appropriate person so that I can be helpful.

    Thank you,
